Ce wagon a été créé en 1940 (ref 715 type I) et, la même année, a été équipé d'attelages à solénoïde sous la référence 2955 type I .
Ce wagon a été commercialisé sous la forme de kit à construire avec tranferts SHELL, Ref 715K (type I)
A partir de 1941 ce wagon a été équipé des bogies classiques en tôle et d'attelages automatiques.
Existe en reférence récente Lionel 6-51300 avec lettrage peint. (voir ce wagon)
Die-cast metal -
This car was created in 1940 (ref: 715 type I) and, in the same year, was fitted with solenoid couplers under the reference 2955 type I.
The tanker was also offered as a kit with Shell decals ref : 715K (type I).
From 1941 this tanker used conventional tineplatetrucks with automatic couplers.
Exist in the recent reference Lionel 6-51300 with peinted lettering. (see this car)
